Performative manifestation of the headache that accompanies traumatic brain injury. Lesley incurred TBI in 2006 and suffered a constant headache from the time of impact until later 2010.  This short etude is a sketch for a larger piece in development that concerns trauma both private - Lesley’s, and public – the trauma that infuses the city of Palermo Sicily, the heartland of the Sicilian mafia.

 

Lesley performed this piece, simultaneously with Poppy Jackson, at Franko Bs Untouchable – The Musical, at The Flying Dutchman in London UK.
